I’m not great at many things. But here's one thing I can do.

I wanted to make something that could only ever be made for you and for us; something that is so distinctly ours that anyone who saw this would know it could only belong to us and no one else.

I could go on-and-on forever telling you how much I love you, but even if I keep going until we die, I still don’t think my words would ever amount to how much I love you.

A picture is worth a thousand words. And so I wanted to use pictures to show all the things I love about you.

Like a tree, I think we’ll only continue to grow. Our first year together is just the first sprout out of the ground. For every picture, eventually our little sapling will flourish into a big heartwarming tree that tells our story—that will one day drop acorns that we can nurture in our shade, so that our kids can have their own sprouts here too.
